March 7, 2013- "First Ever Autism Festival to Place in Downtown Houston"-  In celebration of April being Autism Awareness Month, Together for Autism Foundation of Houston has partnered with Sigma Child Therapy and Developmental Services to present the first Autism Festival in Houston. The purpose of the Houston Autism Festival is to create Autism awareness within the local community and to provide entertainment and a fun weekend for kids while allowing parents to meet each other and exchange experiences and life stories.

Saturday: April 6, 2013 from 10:00 am -7:00 pm
Sunday: April 7, 2013 From 10:00 am-6:00 pm

This First annual Autism Festival event will present the autism community with a unique opportunity to come together and exchange experiences and challenges while ensuring that the kids, -the subject of the event- are having fun and entertainment.
The Festival will provide a center for information for parents, providers and the Autism community at large by providing opportunity to local, state and federal providers, Autism professionals and agencies to present products, services and information that are tailored to the needs kids with autism.
