June 22, 2016- "WRA Senior Hopes Idea Inspired by Brother can Become MIT Program Star"-  Paul Schumacher is spending part of his summer at the MIT launch program, which is a “business incubator” for high school startups. Paul, who already started a company called Star Room, which is described as an end-to-end solution for children with autism and sensory processing disorders to seek release from their symptoms, is also in the process of developing a special chair that will simulate a mother’s hug and calm down a children who is overstimulated. Paul is inspired by his brother, Andrew, and hopes that one day soon his chairs will be available in public schools to help children with autism grow their social skills and assist them in a public school setting.
