March 27, 2013- "Previous Generations May Hold Clues to Autism"- New studies indicated that a child’s odds of developing autism could stem back generations and could be impacted by the experiences of parents and grandparents. One study indicates that children born to women who were born as youngsters are at a higher risk of developing autism. A second study demonstrates that men who are older when their children are born are more likely to have grandchildren with the developmental disorder.
