- Type: Send a Kid to Camp Grants
Foundation/Organization: Autism Society of Boulder County
Location: Boulder/Broomfield Counties Colorado
Description: Introduced in 2011, this fund was established in response to the many requests ASBC received for financial support to defray camp costs. Many families see the benefit of sending a son or daughter to therapeutic summer camps, but such programs generally have big price tags. And on top of camp fees, many families need to travel out of town or out of state with their child in order to participate, incurring travel and lodging expenses. ASBC created the Send a Kid to Camp program in order to grant families $300-$500 each to defray summer camp costs.
We will be continuing to add to this list as we find new grants so please check back.
